MEGA is an unparalleled local fashion magazine which is known for mounting notable events and producing one-of-a-kind content for its respective market. The Philippines’ best glossy magazine recently surprised everyone—both fans and fashion enthusiasts—with their release of not just one, but six fashion films featuring today’s most sensational personalities!
Shot in different locations, celebrities including Gabbi Garcia, Janella Salvador, Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Lustre, Maja Salvador, McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson portray different emotions in the films. The idea of putting up short fashion films started when G-Force founder, New PH awardee, and MEGA‘s dear friend Georcelle “TG” Dapat-Sy proposed to MEGA an idea of marrying the art of dance and fashion together.
“This [opportunity] is really game changing for me because it’s a collaboration with MEGA. How did it start? It was a simple coffee date with my dear friend Archie Carrasco (Publisher of MEGA magazine). I mentioned to him that I want to do the art of dance to create powerful stories using fashion and film as its core. I’ve always been wanting to create something different, something that will level up our game. So why not collaborate with the best here in the Philippines? ‘Di ba? Wala nang iba kung hindi MEGA lang,” said TG at the launch of MEGA fashion films on October 23, at Twenty-Four Seven McKinley, Bonifacio Global City.
“I approached them and they just simply said yes. Just like that, everything came into life,” she added.

Being the creative director of the prestigious fashion films, TG is beyond grateful to be given such amazing opportunity by MEGA. “We know how grand MEGA projects are. They call it boundary pushing. I only asked for one, but they produced six fashion films. We ended up shooting in different parts of the world. And what’s more amazing about it, we collaborated with the brightest stars of today’s generation,” she ended.
