She has just returned to the teleserye scene via Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin. She’s also working on The Ghost Bride, a new movie helmed by director Chito Roño. In addition, she is in the process of recording her third studio album. Despite her hectic schedule these days, Kim Chiu is done with overthinking and overanalyzing. She declares that she is done with the drama. She is focused on the now.
“I take it one day at a time. Don’t super plan kasi ma-de-depress ka ‘pag hindi natupad ‘yung mga plano mo. I-enjoy mo lang every moment of your life. Live the moment,” she tells Inside Showbiz Weekly with a vibrant smile.
When it was pointed out that her pronouncements reveal how chill she is, Kim lets out a loud laugh. Was she like that ever since? “No,” she exclaims, “Hindi. Actually, hindi talaga!” She admits that she used to be preoccupied with so many concerns, including petty and even the littlest things. “Hindi na ako ma-plano na tao. ‘Yung mga pina-plano ko, for the week lang,” she proudly says.
