All I Need is Gabbi Garcia’s first single which she has self-produced at the tender age of 18.
“It’s a song about self-empowerment. It’s a song about self-worth and self-love and really about being independent and realizing your worth as a person,” Gabbi shares with Inside Showbiz Weekly. The actress, best known for her portrayal of Sang’gre Alena in this year’s Encantadia, cannot hide her excitement about the release of her single which she describes as a very chill R&B track.
“I just really wanna share my artistry, my art to everyone and it’s very personal for me. This whole project kasi, all the ideas, all the concepts came from me and my team which I formed. So it’s extra personal and it’s so fulfilling for me to see everything come into reality,” she says. She, however, stood her ground and did not sign with a record label. She chose the hard way of making music by going indie.
“I really wanted to explore my artistry. I’m a music business management student from Meridian International School (MINT College) and my sister is a Conservatory of Music graduate. We really wanted to do something like this. And I wanted to be all organic kasi iba if you have the full control in your music, in your artworks, in your videos.”
