Get to Know Diego Loyzaga and Ronnie Alonte’s Characters in Bloody Crayons

In Bloody Crayons, Diego Loyzaga plays Kenly Sy, the alpha male of the group. “Sobrang mahal niya yung barkada niya. I can relate to that na kahit napapasama na ‘yung ginagawa ko, para lang sa friends ko gagawin ko. I treat my friends as family,” says Diego. “One thing I hate about Kenly is mabilis siya magalit. Emosyonal siya na tao. He has a short fuse, so hindi mahaba ang pasensiya niya. Konting pitik mo lang magagalit na siya.”

Diego tells that playing Kenly was really different from other characters he played because of the suspense element in the movie. “Iba talaga ‘yung atake ng characters namin, may tensyon talaga. Kaya natuwa ako na kasama ako dito because it’s my first time to do this kind of role and this kind of genre.”

Ronnie Alonte plays John Abrillo, the newbie in the group, or the outsider. “Mahilig ako gumawa ng mga prosthetics,” says Ronnie about John. He says that there were similarities in playing John with other characters he’s played, such as with Miguel, the deacon in the film Seklusyon. “Halos same lang din,” he tells Inside Showbiz Weekly. “Tahimik lang ako sa Seklusyon, katulad dito sa Bloody Crayons. Outsider din ako dun,” He admits that John is also a bit of a bad boy like the other characters he’s played, “Bad boy na naman!
